At Mostrim Groundworks, safety is at the heart of all we do. We are committed to providing a safe place for employees and other contractors to work by prioritising health, safety and welfare standards in a robust safety culture.
Our managing director and senior managers take all reasonable steps to protect and keep their sites safe, including providing health and safety training for our people that we continually refresh and develop.
As an important part of our safety management we continually reassess and monitor our training plans to keep our staff upskilled and qualified to work safely. We work to CITB schemes such as CSCS, CPCS and NPORS certification. Our supervisors attain SSSTS and SMSTS as a minimum standard.
We build on this with additional training such as Streetworks, Temporary Works, abrasive wheels, asbestos awareness and a range of other health and safety courses which we run all year. We are very proud of our annual health and safety training day which we host off site for all staff to get together and refresh their knowledge of personal responsibility to working safely.
Mostrim Groundworks operations are planned meticulously, assuring you that all risks have been identified, analysed, reduced, or eliminated. Managers ensure operatives receive all the information they need, and our health and safety manager constantly monitors, inspects and reviews our safe working procedures.
Mostrim Groundworks Ltd is a Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accredited contractor and Safety Management Advisory Service (SMAS) Worksafe contractor.
